8 May 2008
 EWHC 990 (QB)
Susan Rodway QC appeared for the Claimant, an 11 year old boy, who was seriously injured in an accident on a bouncy castle. She successfully argued at the liability trial in the High Court that the activity had not been properly supervised by the First and Second Defendants, who were the hirers of the play equipment. The case has been widely reported in the national press. Rohan Pershad acted for the Third Defendant, the Claimant’s father. The action against the Third Defendant, brought by the hirers of the play equipment, was dismissed and indemnity costs of the entire action against him was ordered.
